Doha (Qatar) - Registration is now open for Mousharaka: Icograda Design Week in Qatar, taking place in Doha from 28 February - 8 March 2009. Register before 31 December and receive a discounted rate.
Hosted by the Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar (VCU Qatar), the Design week will consist of an Education Symposium and a Professional Conference, as well as Design Debate Doha and a selection of cultural events.Open to practitioners, scholars, and students across design disciplines, cultures and regions, the Design Week will raise awareness of the importance and promise of the theme 'Collaboration', and will create the bonds necessary to achieve the full potential of design in the Gulf region.
